Elgg 1.8.4 is now available for download. This release contains important security enhancements, so you are adviced to upgrade as soon as possible to keep your network safe. We have now added an option to enable three columns layout in all of our themes in the 1.8 branch of Elgg. Under theme settings, you can choose between two columns or three columns, giving you an extra sidebar where you can add content such as Google AdSense. We’ve released updates to all of our themes version 1.8. Head over to the downloads page to grab the new theme packages. These updates follows up on a few changes in the latest Elgg version 1.8.1. The theme Silverblue is the next theme that has been updated to version elgg 1.8. There are in addition to the update added a couple of setting options. A new element, profile icon, has been added to the sidebar and a logo.psd file is now included in the package. Tonight we have released an update to the Business Theme. Now all our Elgg themes have been updated to keep up with the latest Elgg version 1.7.11 standards. Updates also include minor css adjustments and improvements.. Check the theme description if you’re interested in reading more about the improvements, or just grab a new theme package. You can always check your theme version in the file manifest.xml so you know whether you have the latest version.
